The Mt. Vernon Marauders softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Anderson Indians to 0 in the Marauders non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Marauders host Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN) to clash with the Royals in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 18. The Royals come into the game with a record of 13-10. Hamilton Southeastern won 19-9 in their recent league game against Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Fishers Tigers (Fishers, IN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 19. Anderson will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 8-13 record after their 3-2 league win over Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN).
