Illinois High School Softball - Andrew bounces Mother McAuley

The Andrew Thunderbolts routed the host Mother McAuley Mighty Macs softball squad by a final score of 8-2 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Thunderbolts (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers go into the SouthWest Suburban battle with a 15-9 record. In their last battle, Bradley-Bourbonnais held off Coal City (Coal City, IL), 12-3, in a non-league battle.

The Mighty Macs now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they host De La Salle for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 19. Mother McAuley will meet a Meteors squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Taft (Chicago, IL). The Meteors record now stands at 14-10.
