Kentucky High School Softball - Metcalfe County thwarted by Barren County

The Metcalfe County Hornets softball team (Edmonton, KY), was routed 11-1 in Monday's non-league test with the host Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY)

Coming up next, the Trojans encounter the Bowling Green Purples (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 17. Barren County will attempt to improve on its 19-8 season record. The Purples come into the test with a 11-8 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY).

The Hornets (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Raiders come into the non-league test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Hart County was routed by Owensboro (Owensboro, KY), 12-3, in a non-league test.
