The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Brainerd Warriors (Brainerd, MN) and the host Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN), saw Brainerd's softball squad nip Centennial by a count of 5-0.
The Warriors now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Moorhead for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 17.
With the loss, Centennial falls to 16-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Blaine (Blaine, MN) to face the Bengals in a Northwest Suburban match on Tuesday, May 17. The Bengals enter the match with a record of 6-1.
