Game Summary
In a a classic pitching duel on Monday night at Pfeiffer Field the Lions fell short after 3 extra frames. The Bremen girls softball team trailed 2-0 thru 6 innings, when a pair of walks to Avery Wildauer, and Mickie Shively, Jaylin Swint hit a triple off the left field fence scoring both runs to tie the game.
Thru the next three innings only zeros were put on the scoreboard. Avery Kidwell lead off the top of the 10th with a triple, then a walk, finally Erin Kidwell then singled to score both Eagle runners. Gretchen Willis singled & took 2B on a bobbled ball in the outfield in the bottom of the frame. Winning pitcher Charmat then struck out the side to end the threat.
