Kings Knights (Kings Mill, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fairfield Indians (Fairfield, OH), 9-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lakota West for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 19. Kings will battle a Firebirds squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over St. Ursula Academy (Cincinnati, OH). The Firebirds record now stands at 24-3.

With the loss, Fairfield falls to 7-3 on the campaign.
