Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Tuscarora Titans (Frederick, MD), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Linganore for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Governor Thomas Johnson will face a Lancers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD). The Lancers record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Tuscarora falls to 3-4 on the campaign.
