The Whiteland Warriors softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Triton Central Tigers to 8 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Whiteland moves its record to 21-1 on the year. The Warriors host Mooresville (Mooresville, IN) to clash with the Pioneers in a Mid-State game on Tuesday, May 17. The Pioneers come into the game with a record of 25-2. Mooresville won 11-0 in their recent non-league game against Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN)

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Covenant Christian Warriors (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 17. Triton Central will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 10-12 record after their 19-3 non-league loss to Perry Meridian (Indianapolis, IN).
