The Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) baseball nipped the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bruins encounter the Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 18. Blackford will attempt to better on its 15-10 season record. The Flying Jets come into the contest with a 14-8 record after their 19-9 non-league win over Eastbrook (Marion, IN).
