Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Clear Spring upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Blazers travel to Northern (Accident, MD) to battle the Huskies in a non-league test on Friday, May 19. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 17-4. Northern won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Allegany (Cumberland, MD)
With the defeat, Catoctin falls to 18-2 on the season.
