In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Cardinals face the Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South Meteors (Calumet City, IL) in a South Suburban contest, on Wednesday, May 17. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to better on its 13-19 season record. The Meteors go into the contest with a 3-17 record after their 2-0 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).

With the loss, Bloom moves to 5-15 on the year.
