California High School Softball - St. Mary's holds off Ceres

May 16, 2023: Stockton, CA 95207

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the St. Mary's Rams (Stockton, CA) and the visiting Ceres Bulldogs (Ceres, CA), saw St. Mary's's softball squad nip Ceres by a count of 6-4.

The Rams now sport a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bear Creek for a non-league match on Thursday, May 18. St. Mary's will face a Bruins squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 19-6.

With the loss, Ceres falls to 15-8 on the campaign.
