In Tuesday's league contest, the Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) softball team the visiting Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN), by a margin of 7-3.

With the triumph, Shakopee moves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Sabers host Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN) to play the Eagles in a South Suburban Conference contest on Wednesday, May 17. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 1-16. Apple Valley lost 11-1 in their recent non-league contest against Edina (Edina, MN)
