The Cooperstown Hawkeyes softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Chenango Forks Blue Devils to 4 in the Hawkeyes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Cooperstown moves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Hawkeyes host Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY) to play the Indians in a Section 3 Center State II game on Wednesday, May 17. The Indians come into the game with a record of 4-8. Sauquoit Valley won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY)

In their next game, the Blue Devils play the Greene Trojans (Greene, NY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 18. Chenango Forks will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 13-3 record after their 7-3 non-league win over Southside (Elmira, NY).
