New York High School Softball - Homer bounces Cincinnatus Central

The Homer Trojans routed the host Cincinnatus Central Lions softball squad by a final score of 21-14 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Trojans (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Mexico (Mexico, NY). The Tigers go into the Section 3 Liberty battle with a 3-12 record. In their last battle, Mexico was routed by Cazenovia (Cazenovia, NY), 26-6, in a league battle.

The Lions now possess a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Brookfield Central for a Section 3 Central Counties - American battle on Wednesday, May 17. Cincinnatus Central will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Otselic Valley (South Otselic, NY). The Beavers record now stands at 11-6.
