Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Indian Creek Braves (Trafalgar, IN), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Olympians now own a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they host Scottsburg for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. Columbus East will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to West Washington (Campbellsburg, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 17-8.

With the loss, Indian Creek falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Braves host Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN) to battle the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 18-5. Beech Grove won 17-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Lebanon (Lebanon, IN)
