The Oakdale Mustangs softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting El Capitan Gauchos to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Oakdale moves its record to 19-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Pioneer (Woodland, CA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league game on Thursday, May 18. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 21-4. Pioneer won 6-4 in their recent non-league game against Rosemont (Sacramento, CA)
