Virginia High School Softball - Isle of Wight Academy gets by Miller School of Albemarle

The Isle of Wight Academy Chargers got by the host Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Chargers (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA). The Saints go into the non-league bout with a 17-7 record. In their last bout, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy held off Foxcroft (Middleburg, VA), 17-2, in a non-league bout.
The Mavericks now possess a 11-6 record.
