California High School Softball - Ponderosa bounces Wood

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the visiting Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA), witnessed Ponderosa's softball squad prevail over Wood by a count of 13-2.

The Bruins now sport a 20-4 record. They play next when they travel to Manteca for a non-league match on Thursday, May 18. Ponderosa will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Roseville (Roseville, CA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 17-8.

With the loss, Wood moves to 6-11 on the season.
