Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 25-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kimball for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. Vista del Lago will battle a Jaguars squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Los Banos (Los Banos, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Rio Linda falls to 16-10 on the campaign.
