Westwood Cardinals (Washington Township, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ), 18-1 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Paramus Catholic for a Big North challenge on Wednesday, May 17. Westwood will face a Paladins squad coming off a 16-2 non-league loss to Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ). The Paladins record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Tenafly falls to 3-16 on the campaign.
