Illinois High School Baseball - Lake Park loses to Conant

The Conant Cougars crushed the host Lake Park Lancers baseball team by a count of 12-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 22-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buffalo Grove for a non-league bout on Friday, May 17. Conant will face a Bison team coming off a 9-2 league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Bison record now stands at 17-13.

Next, the Lancers face the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 18. Lake Park will attempt to move on its 24-8 season record. The Grenadiers enter the bout with a 6-21 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL).
