The Nutley Maroon Raiders baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Hackensack Comets to 0 in the Maroon Raiders non-league victory on Thursday.
The Maroon Raiders (5-16) will now prepare for their match against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ). The Bengals go into the non-league match with a 8-14 record. In their last match, Bloomfield gained a win over Belleville (Belleville, NJ), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Comets (15-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Passaic (Passaic, NJ). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, Passaic was overwhelmed by Montclair (Montclair, NJ), 8-3, in a non-league challenge.
