The Lynnfield Pioneers crushed the visiting Rockport Vikings baseball team by a count of 11-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Amesbury for a non-league bout on Saturday, May 18. Lynnfield will face a Redhawks team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Newburyport (Newburyport, MA). The Redhawks record now stands at 3-12.
Next, the Vikings face the Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School Hawks (Hathorne, MA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 18. Rockport will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 2-15 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA).
