In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) baseball squad triumphed over the host Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), by a final score of 10-1.

With the win, Virgin Valley advances its record to 29-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to face the Greenwave in a non-league outing on Friday, May 17. The Greenwave enter the outing with a record of 25-5. Churchill County won 4-3 in their recent non-league outing against The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV)

Next, the Spartans face the The Meadows School Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league outing, on Friday, May 17. Spring Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 27-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 25-11 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV).
