In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Wheaton Academy Warriors volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the South Elgin Storm.
The Warriors (18-6) will now prepare for their battle against Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 28-6 record. In their last battle, Wheaton North achieved victory over Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Storm encounter the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 27. South Elgin will attempt to advance on its 13-20 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 17-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL).
