The East Grand Rapids Pioneers lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Caledonia Fighting Scots to 12 in the Pioneers league win on Thursday.

The Pioneers (10-6) will now prepare for their match against Glenn (Bay City, MI). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 2-12 record. In their last match, Glenn was overwhelmed by Midland (Midland, MI), 16-6, in a non-league match.

The Fighting Scots (12-5) will now prepare for their match against Holland Christian (Holland, MI). The Maroons go into the Division 2 District 10 match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, Holland Christian nudged Christian (Grand Rapids, MI), 19-7, in a league match.
