Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Marion Giants (Marion, IN), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastbrook for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 20.

With the loss, Marion falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Bellmont (Decatur, IN) to battle the Braves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 21. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 13-7. Bellmont lost 10-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN)
