Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host White River Valley Wolverines (Switz City, IN), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomington North for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 18. Bloomfield will face a Cougars squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to North Daviess (Elnora, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 5-18.

With the loss, White River Valley falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN) to face the Clovers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 21. The Clovers enter the challenge with a record of 2-15. Cloverdale won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Brown County (Nashville, IN)
