The Buena Chiefs softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Hammonton Blue Devils to 2 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Buena moves its record to 16-5 on the year.

In their next game, the Blue Devils play the Williamstown Braves (Williamstown, NJ) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 17. Hammonton will attempt to move on its 5-17 season record. The Braves come into the game with a 4-18 record after their 17-13 non-league loss to Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ).
