The Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) softball routed the visiting Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), 10-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Cougars (26-4) will now prepare for their bout against Todd County Central (Elkton, KY). The Rebels go into the non-league challenge with a 12-14 record. In their last challenge, Todd County Central was routed by Ohio County (Hartford, KY), 17-3, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Christian County falls to 18-12 on the campaign. The Colonels host Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY) to face the Tigers in a District 8 challenge on Monday, May 20. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 0-19.
