The East Jessamine Jaguars softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Franklin County Flyers to 3 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, East Jessamine moves its record to 18-12 on the year. The Jaguars host Burgin (Burgin, KY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a District 46 game on Monday, May 20. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 9-11. Burgin won 13-9 in their recent non-league game against Thomas Nelson (Bardstown, KY)

In their next game, the Flyers clash with the Western Hills Wolverines (Frankfort, KY) in a District 41 game, on Tuesday, May 21. Franklin County will attempt to move on its 13-12 season record. The Wolverines come into the game with a 19-11 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY).
