Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) and the host Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL), witnessed Warren Township's softball squad tip Grayslake North by a count of 10-5.

The Blue Devils now sport a 20-7 record. They play next when they travel to Taft for a non-league match on Friday, May 17. Warren Township will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 24-7.

With the loss, Grayslake North moves to 5-19 on the season. The Knights host Lakes (Lake Villa, IL) to meet the Eagles in a Northern Lake County match on Friday, May 17. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 15-13. Lakes won 9-4 in their recent league match against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL)
