The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) and the visiting West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ), saw Passaic Valley's softball squad achieve victory over West Orange by a count of 11-1.
The Hornets now sport a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bergen Tech for a non-league match on Saturday, May 18.
With the loss, West Orange falls to 14-8 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Glen Ridge (Glen Ridge, NJ) to face the Ridgers in a non-league match on Friday, May 17. The Ridgers enter the match with a record of 12-10.
