In Friday's league bout, the Mt. Blue Cougars (Farmington, ME) baseball squad the host Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME), by a tally of 4-0.
Next up, the Cougars encounter the Camden Hills Windjammers (Rockport, ME) in a Class A North bout, on Monday, May 19. Mt. Blue will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Windjammers enter the bout with a 2-8 record after their 4-3 league loss to Lewiston (Lewiston, ME).
The Witches (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Hampden (Hampden, ME). The Broncos enter the Class A North bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Hampden was overwhelmed by Camden Hills (Rockport, ME), 2-1, in a league bout.
