Ohio High School Baseball - Lakota West edges Talawanda

The Lakota West Firebirds baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Talawanda Brave to 14 in the Firebirds non-league win on Friday.
The Firebirds now own a 19-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perrysburg for a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. Lakota West will clash with a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 14-5.
With the defeat, Talawanda drops to 11-19 on the year. The Brave travel to Monroe (Monroe, OH) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 21. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 13-7.
