The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL) and the visiting Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL), saw Princeton's baseball team gain a win over Ottawa by a tally of 12-9.

The Tigers (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Kewanee (Kewanee, IL). The Boilermakers enter the Three Rivers battle with a 12-18 record. In their last battle, Kewanee held off Galesburg (Galesburg, IL), 15-11, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 19. Ottawa will attempt to upgrade on its 15-14 season record. The Reapers enter the battle with a 11-18 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Earlville (Earlville, IL).
