The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) and the host Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), saw Rolling Meadows's baseball team gain a win over Schaumburg by a tally of 15-2.

The Mustangs (20-11) will now prepare for their battle against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 14-13 record. In their last battle, Grant Community was overwhelmed by Lakes (Lake Villa, IL), 8-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Saxons face the West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 17. Schaumburg will attempt to upgrade on its 8-21 season record. The Blackhawks enter the battle with a 23-5 record after their 11-2 non-league win over Fenton (Bensenville, IL).
