Indiana High School Softball - Angola bounces Lakeland

May 16, 2025: Angola, IN 46703

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Angola Hornets (Angola, IN) and the visiting Lakeland Lakers (LaGrange, IN), observed Angola's softball team prevail over Lakeland by a tally of 10-0.

The Hornets (5-12) will now prepare for their bout against Adams Central (Monroe, IN). The Flying Jets go into the non-league bout with a 2-13 record. In their last bout, Adams Central was routed by South Adams (Berne, IN), 15-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the Lakewood Park Christian Panthers (Auburn, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 17. Lakeland will attempt to advance on its 5-15 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 17-1 non-league loss to Churubusco (Churubusco, IN).
