In Friday's non-league test, the Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), by a count of 11-5.
Next, the Red Devils meet the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 17. Hinsdale Central will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 10-17 record after their 14-6 league loss to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL).
The Meteors (23-8) will now prepare for their test against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans go into the test with a 20-4 record. In their last test, St. Francis held off Trinity (River Forest, IL), 15-0, in a league test.
