Ohio High School Softball - Elmwood gets by Swanton

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Elmwood Royals (Bloomdale, OH) and the visiting Swanton Bulldogs (Swanton, OH), observed Elmwood's softball team get by Swanton by a tally of 4-3.

The Royals (15-8) will now prepare for their bout against Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 7-12 record. In their last bout, Ottawa-Glandorf was nipped by Celina (Celina, OH), 14-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Eastwood Eagles (Pemberville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 21. Swanton will attempt to advance on its 13-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 20-2 record after their 5-2 league win over Maumee (Maumee, OH).
