Maine High School Softball - Maine Central Institute sneaks past North Yarmouth Academy

In Friday's non-league match, the host Maine Central Institute Huskies softball team scored a tight 7-6 win over the North Yarmouth Academy Panthers.
The Huskies (3-3) will now prepare for their match against St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME). The Saints come into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, St. Dominic nipped Mount View (Thorndike, ME), 7-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the St. Dominic Saints (Lewiston, ME) in a Class D South match, on Monday, May 19. North Yarmouth Academy will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Saints come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME).
