The Monroe County Falcons softball squad (Tompkinsville, KY), was routed 9-3 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY)

With the triumph, Southwestern improves its record to 17-9 on the year. The Warriors travel to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY) to face the Commodores in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 17. The Commodores enter the contest with a record of 18-10. Perry County Central won 4-2 in their recent non-league contest against North Laurel (London, KY)

The Falcons now hold a 4-18 record.
