Presentation Panthers (San Jose, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley Christian for a West Catholic challenge on Wednesday, May 19. Presentation will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Gilroy falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Silver Creek (San Jose, CA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 22. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 9-5. Silver Creek won 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA)
