In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Barnstable Red Hawks baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the St. John Paul II Lions.
The Red Hawks (9-7) will now prepare for their game against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional (South Yarmouth, MA). The Dolphins go into the non-league game with a 5-18 record. In their last game, Dennis-Yarmouth Regional was overwhelmed by Monomoy (Harwich, MA), 9-7, in a non-league game.
The Lions (10-9) will now prepare for their game against Sturgis West (Hyannis, MA). The Navigators go into the Cape & Islands game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Sturgis West was overwhelmed by Atlantis (Fall River, MA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
