In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Plainfield Panthers baseball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Harvard Ellis Tech Eagles.
The Panthers (9-9) will now prepare for their game against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 16-2 record. In their last game, Bacon Academy tipped Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT), 15-4, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their game against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets go into the non-league game with a 5-13 record. In their last game, Windham was overwhelmed by Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT), 12-7, in a non-league game.
