In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) baseball squad triumphed over the host Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles (Pittsburgh, PA), by a final score of 7-1.
With the win, Mohawk Area upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Warriors host Yough (Herminie, PA) to battle the Cougars in a WPIAL 3A 4 challenge on Wednesday, May 18. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 10-7.
With the defeat, Keystone Oaks falls to 5-11 on the season.
