Illinois High School Volleyball - Lincoln-Way Central can't hold off Lincoln-Way East

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Lincoln-Way Central Knights.
The Griffins (28-6) will now prepare for their battle against Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 23-4 record. In their last battle, Chicago Christian nudged St. Edward (Elgin, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Knights clash with the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a Southwest Suburban battle, on Thursday, May 19. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to advance on its 19-15 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the battle with a 9-22 record after their 2-0 league loss to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL).
