In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Smithfield Packers soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Bruton Panthers.
The Packers (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA). The Rams come into the Bay Rivers battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Lafayette nudged Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Panthers (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Windsor (Windsor, VA). The Dukes come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record.
