Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Fort Wayne Snider Panthers (Fort Wayne, IN), 20-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Braves now sport a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Wayne Northrop for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Bellmont will face a Bruins squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN). The Bruins record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Fort Wayne Snider falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Panthers host Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 19. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 13-5. Homestead won 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against New Haven (New Haven, IN)
